benefits of this design:
Need only remove outside
locking ring to adjust weight
No need to remove the
tire, saving time
Adjust
weight by adding or subtracting 7/16" ball bearings or stationary
weights (stationary weights not provided)
Just about any type of
wheel weights (other than bearings) can be used
 Ball bearings will always
stay at the bottom of the wheel to keep center of gravity at its lowest
point
Largest ball bearing
9/16" or smaller can be used
The key to this design
using any type of ball bearings is to KEEP them below center line
of the wheel; if above
center line it will not work as intended.
If you are above center line the bearings have a tendency to flop over
the top and lose the benefit of keeping the center of gravity at its
lowest point
 This
design doesn't add a lot of weight, but what weight is there keeps the
center of gravity at its most useful point (low in the wheel)
